Ferretti Group has offered a first look inside the first unit in its wallywind110 series, Galma, currently debuting at the Monaco Yacht Show

The sailing yacht hit the water in June 2024 and marked the first semi-custom sail model launched by Wally since its acquisition in 2019. Galma was also the first unit to be officially launched in Ravenna.

Measuring 33.4 metres, the model's naval architecture comes from German studio judel/vrolijk & co. Galma is characterised by a 6.9-metre telescopic keel and an all-carbon hull that has been painted in "a luminous light metallic blue that changes slightly as the light hits her".

"Ever since Wally came into the universe of Ferretti Group, it has carried on being Wally," said Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO. “With the wallywind110, we’ve managed to introduce something that is distinct: the boats are completely customisable staying true to Wally’s tradition, but with Ferretti Group industrial approach, so no two will ever look the same."

Accommodation is across four guest cabins and three crew cabins, including a master cabin with desk space. There is also the option to install a bar, office or television room. Interior design is owed to Wally's team, headed by Luca Bassani in collaboration with Santa Maria Magnolfi. Newly-released imagery reveals an airy, casual aesthetic that incorporates light woods, pale upholstery and carbon fibre detailing for an industrial edge.

The raised saloon has an open-plan layout, with space for dining, lounging and working. It also benefits from natural light thanks to a skylight that runs the full length of the coachroof.

According to the shipyard, the wallywind100 focuses on combining the comfort of a cruising yacht with the spirit and performance of a racing boat. To this end, Galma has an 80-square-metre full-beam cockpit with seating and dining for up to 15 people, with customisation options available so that owners can make the most of this waterfront area.

Wally has already begun work on a second hull, which will display "some slight differences and optimisations" according to the shipyard.
