Italian shipyard and brand of Palumbo Superyachts, ISA Yachts, has unveiled a new superyacht line in collaboration with Italian studio Luca Dini Design & Architecture.
The line, named Timeless, incorporates five yachts ranging from 42 to 82 metres, and has been developed to "stand the test of time through authoritative styling and architectural rigour". Timeless comprises a 42, 52, 62, 72 and 82-metre model – each one characterised by a low, horizontal exterior profile and balanced proportions.
The first model to be presented is the Timeless 52, a 52-metre yacht which takes customisation "to a new level", according to the yard. Constructed in steel and aluminium, the yacht features a nine-metre beam and 499GT of volume, with a focus on flexible outdoor living. Large walk-around areas wrap around the model, allowing for undisturbed circulation and generous, comfortable living spaces.
Core to the design is the flexible main deck and bow area. The latter of which features space for a tender over six metres on one side, and a large lounge area with an opening roof and modular panels on the other. The whole area has been designed for varying configurations depending on usage needs or weather.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in six cabins, which can be organised in multiple combinations depending on the owner's preferences. The platform offers several configurations for the entire main deck and bow section, including an owner's suite with a private terrace; a formal or informal dining area with a modular layout and terrace; and an optional private gaming room on the lower deck, with an indoor cinema and adjacent outdoor area.
Further layout variations include a wellness area, complete with a panoramic sauna and terrace jacuzzi, and a fully-equipped, indoor–outdoor gym.
An alternative configuration sees the upper deck dedicated entirely to the owner, with an aft suite, direct access to the external cockpit and a private jacuzzi. The lower deck is equally as versatile, able to be configured with five or six guest cabins, in addition to an optional spa or gym area and a garage.
In terms of interior design, natural light is a major focus, ensured via large glazed windows, generous floor-to-ceiling heights and the removal of any visually intrusive structural elements. Elsewhere, technical features have been discreetly incorporated. Crew accommodation is for up to 11 crew in six cabins.
Power for the model will be from twin MAN V12 engines of 1,400 kW each, expected to deliver a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
A statement from the yard read: "With Timeless 52, ISA Yachts reaffirms its leadership in the construction of steel and aluminium yachts, offering a design platform that combines engineering solidity and expressive freedom. A superyacht capable of interpreting different identities, destined to remain contemporary, authoritative and recognisable over time."
BOATPro indicates the shipyard has 14 yachts currently under construction or on order, including its 100-metre flagship, which was sold in September.
