This weekend, a procession of classic and modern supercars will begin a delightful journey from Chilston Park in Kent, through rural France, to the Monaco Yacht Show, marking the fifth Redman Whiteley Dixon Auto Tour.

Tour host, superyacht design studio, Redman Whiteley Dixon, is delighted to welcome new sponsors; Moet & Chandon, Veritas International and MarineGuard. Over 3000 miles of research has been undertaken to create an exciting new route for 2012. The three-day Tour will include seventeen beautiful cars, including a Ferrari 250GTO, Aston Martin DB6 and Ferrari California, to name a few. Equipped with only a road map and a hamper of delicious goodies (satellite navigation is strictly forbidden) the group of car enthusiasts, superyacht designers, shipyard owners, architects and artists will navigate a well-planned route through French countryside, interspersed with carefully selected lunch and overnight stops.

The convoy will descend into Casino Square in Monaco on Tuesday 18 September, 2012. Complete with police escort, their arrival is sure to add excitement to the beginning of the Monaco Yacht Show. A drinks reception on the terrace of Hotel de Paris will mark the end of Redman Whiteley Dixon’s Auto Tour 2012. Partner at Redman Whiteley Dixon, Justin Redman, comments: “The Tour is a unique opportunity to share

an appreciation of both classic car engineering and yachting, with like-minded friends, colleagues and clients. It is the ultimate journey and was born from our desire to reignite the excitement and pioneering spirit of travel. We are delighted to welcome new sponsors on board this year and look forward to sharing this adventure with them.”
