Nuvolari Lenard and Moran Yacht & Ship unveil 116m ready-to-build superyacht White Arrow

Italian design studio Nuvolari Lenard has unveiled a 116-metre superyacht project developed in collaboration with brokerage and yacht management firm Moran Yacht & Ship. Known as White Arrow, the yacht explores the "next generation of bespoke design" and is presented as a ready-to-build project.

According to Nuvolari Lenard, the design approach began by building on its heritage before looking to the future at the anticipated desires and expectations of the new owner, where the focus has shifted to the quality of the onboard experience. Privacy, wellbeing, time and a connection with people and nature are among them - an evolution which Nuvolari Lenard is said to have experienced since its founding in 1992.

"Project White Arrow reflects this changing ‘sentiment’, exploring how scale, architecture and design can create an environment that feels both exceptional and deeply liveable," explained naval architect, mechanical engineer and studio co-founder Carlo Nuvolari. "A yacht of this scale gives you an extraordinary opportunity, but also a responsibility: to create something that feels coherent, effortless and ultimately human."

Strong, dynamic lines and a sculptural superstructure define the yacht's profile, with expansive elongated glazing providing a close connection with the environment. 5,200GT of volume is expected on board, with revealed features including a dedicated owner’s deck with a private lounge, a large beach club leading to a sauna, steam room, two massage rooms and a full-beam gym, and a winter garden and a full-sized pickleball court on deck. Accommodation, meanwhile, is for up to 18 guests in nine cabins and quarters for a crew of 39.

White Arrow's layout has also been designed around how owners are increasingly spending time at sea: for months at a time and as more of a private residence rather than a singular retreat. Range was also key to the yacht's design, addressed with features including a helipad, two 12-metre tenders, two 7.1-metre tenders and generous storage for water toys.

Stylist, designer and studio co-founder Dan Lenard added: "The most interesting projects are not necessarily those that arrive with every answer already defined. They are the ones that establish a strong vision and leave the right space for the owner to make it their own."

White Arrow has been drawn as a foundation from which the architecture, interiors and onboard experience can be tailored in collaboration with a client. According to Moran Yacht & Ship, an owner can move to a build contract with a shipyard of their choosing in a shorter timeframe, with a specification developed by its new-build team.

Earlier this year, the studio also presented the first and second designs in ISA Yachts' newly launched design platform, the ISA Large Yacht Collection.
