South African superyacht yard Southern Wind has revealed a new 27 metre sailing catamaran at the boot Dusseldorf boat show.
The new model, which is named SWCAT 90, will be built in carbon composite and has been penned inside and out by Nauta Design with catamaran design specialist Berret-Racoupeau.
According to the yard, the new model “combines all the greatest attributes of the SWS monohull yachts into a versatile catamaran design”.
Meanwhile it “offers an event higher level of comfort and greater autonomy with the ability to stay longer periods without touching ports,” the yard added.
Accommodation inside the spacious interior is for a total of eight guests in four cabins, alongside crew quarters of two to three staff cabins.
Elsewhere, the interior will feature a 171 square metres of interior floorspace and a large saloon of 45 square metres with 360 panoramic views.
