Nominations have opened for The Honours 2026, an initiative by the Superyacht Life Foundation (SYLF) that recognises individuals making a tangible impact across the superyacht sector.

Now in its fourth year, The Honours highlights people whose work is reshaping perceptions of the industry, both within yachting and beyond. Previous editions have celebrated a broad mix of figures, including ocean conservationists, founders of philanthropic projects and advocates for diversity, education and scientific research.

The awards are open to nominations from across the industry spectrum, from crew and captains to designers, engineers, owners, philanthropists and researchers. Candidates may be put forward for initiatives spanning sustainability, mentorship, charitable work or pioneering technical and design projects.

An independent panel comprising industry and non-industry representatives will review submissions. Three honourees will be selected following the judging process, with further details on the announcement to be released in due course.

“The Honours is about giving these exceptional people a voice and showing the world the incredible impact they are making. We encourage the entire community to come forward and nominate the people who inspire them,” says Dilan Saraç, executive director of SYLF.

Nominations can be submitted via thehonours.org.
