Trinity restarts construction of 50m superyacht

25 October 2010 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

In what is hopefully the start of a return to better times, Trinity Yachts has resumed work on the construction on hull T059, a 50m motor yacht. The construction contract was signed in December 2007 but construction was halted by mutual agreement between Trinity Yachts and the owner in August 2009.

Delivery will now be 2012 and the postponement has allowed the owner to take advantage of new technology and to also make some minor changes to the original design. With construction starting again on hull T059, Trinity Yachts currently has 8 yachts in active construction with an additional two partially built yachts available with a reduced delivery time.
