Vicem Yacht is adding the finishing touches to its 100 Cruiser, which the Turkish builder is launching to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The 32.5m model, to be introduced at the end of September, is the latest in Vicem’s Vintage Line of classic, flybridge and cruiser motor yachts ranging from 15m to 30m.
The 100 Cruiser’s powerful lines and classic design echo those of its older sister, the 78 Cruiser, launched last year, but the new model also offers expansive interior and exterior spaces. These include a full-beam master cabin, two spacious VIPs and a 70 square metre flybridge. This combination means it may prove popular as a charter yacht.
‘The Vicem 100 Cruiser is an ideal yacht for an owner with a large family or a heck of a lot of friends,’ says Dirk Boehmer, Vicem Yacht USA president. ‘With a draft of only 1.9m, its cruising ability in the Caribbean, as well as in the Mediterranean, will provide an experience only our flagship vintage model can bestow on those aboard. We are very proud to introduce the Vicem 100 on our 20th anniversary.’
With a hard chine semi-displacement V hull, its two CAT C32 1,550hp engines are predicted to deliver a top speed of 21 knots with a cruising speed of 17 knots.
