At this year's Monaco Yacht Show, Dutch studio Vripack, Italian yard Wider Yachts and brokerage firm OceanWorld Group have launched a new yacht brand known as Ocean Yachts.
The news was announced alongside the reveal of its debut model, the Oceans 47, a displacement superyacht built in steel and aluminium. Confirmed features include an upper deck owner's suite with a "breathtaking view of the ocean", six guest cabins and three lounges which have been designed as "convivial yet refined spaces". The Oceans 47 will also benefit from a private cinema and "reduced consumption and emissions" thanks to its propulsion system and onboard engineering solutions.
"Oceans 47 is the tangible expression of a partnership that brings together design excellence and engineering innovation," said Lydia Pascarelli, CEO of OceanWorld Group. "We wanted to embody an idea of authentic luxury, one that does not compromise on efficiency and that looks boldly to the future of yachting. Oceans 47 represents a milestone for our vision and a starting point for what is to come."
