The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 marks the grand opening of the autumn boat show season and is a pivotal event in the global yachting calendar. Celebrating its 48th edition, the show will take place from 9 to 14 September 2025, transforming the iconic Côte d'Azur into a dazzling showcase of the world's finest yachts and marine innovations.
Set in the picture-perfect backdrop of Cannes, the festival brings together both yachting elite and newcomers. Whether you're a seasoned yacht owner, a marine industry insider or simply curious about the latest developments in boating, this show is a must-visit.
A global showcase
Visitors will be able to explore over 700 yachts ranging from five to 50 metres, displayed by more than 600 international exhibitors. These include motor yachts and sailing yachts, monohulls and multihulls, as well as vessels powered by electric or hybrid propulsion systems.
The festival is a complete marine lifestyle experience. Expect to find the latest innovations in equipment, products and services, alongside valuable networking opportunities with fellow industry professionals.
"For this new edition, our mission remains the same: to offer the sector an exceptional backdrop against which any actor can present its new products, meet its customers and launch the season. The durability of our offering, the quality of our visitors, and the strong commitment of our exhibitors form the foundation of our success. In addition, as every year, we will double our efforts to provide visitors with the most exceptional experience possible, including a new layout for the main entrances to the Vieux Port and Port Canto, as well as an enhanced sea shuttle service," says Sylvie Ernoult, director of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
What’s new for 2025?
The 2025 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival introduces a range of exciting updates designed to improve both access and the overall visitor experience. One of the most noticeable changes is the relocation of the main entrance. While the show has long welcomed guests in front of the Palais des Festivals, this year the entrance has shifted to a more convenient spot next to the Hotel Majestic’s pontoon. The new layout is expected to streamline access to the event.
Another upgrade comes in the form of an enhanced sea shuttle service. Once inside the show, attendees will benefit from a larger and more frequent tender service connecting the Vieux Port and Port Canto, making it even easier to navigate between the two key locations.
The festival also welcomes a new face to its leadership team. Constance Brément has been appointed as deputy director, bringing with her a wealth of industry experience. A graduate of NEOMA, Brément began her career as a key account manager before moving into senior roles in marketing and communications within both the luxury and yachting sectors. Most notably, she served as communications and operational marketing director for the Bénéteau Group. Known for her strategic thinking, customer-centric approach and international project leadership, Brément’s arrival marks an exciting step in the continued evolution of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Where to go and what to see
The Cannes Yachting Festival spans two iconic harbours: the Vieux Port and Port Canto, each offering a distinct experience for visitors. The Vieux Port remains the heart of the show for motor yacht enthusiasts. It hosts an impressive lineup of vessels ranging from 12 to 45 metres and is the hub for many of the event’s most prominent exhibitors.
Across the bay, Port Canto is divided into three dedicated zones, each tailored to a different aspect of the yachting world. The Sailing Area features 120 brand-new sailing yachts, all over 10 metres in length. The Power Boat Marina - which was inaugurated last year - is dedicated to motor boats up to 12 metres, and the Yacht Brokerage & Toys Area is a must-visit for those looking to purchase pre-owned yachts or explore a wide selection of high-tech water toys.
This year’s Cannes Yachting Festival will be the stage for several highly anticipated world debuts from leading shipyards. Italian builder Cantiere delle Marche is set to reveal its largest build to date, the 46.9-metre RJ. Also making headlines is Tankoa Yachts, which will present Singolare, the second unit in its T450 series. Meanwhile, Columbus Yachts will debut Big Naan, the first in its Crossover 42 series.
