Mirazur Capital-backed Marina Port Vell secures first marina in Caribbean expansion

Mirazur Capital and Barcelona's Marina Port Vell announced at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 that it has added British Virgin Islands-based Biras Marina to its portfolio, marking the first venture since the private equity firm secured a majority shareholding in June. The North Sound marina on the island of Virgin Gorda specialises in superyachts and is part of Biras Creek Resort.

The firm said the deal will enable Marina Port Vell to transfer the operational model and service standards developed in Barcelona to the Caribbean, as it looks to continue international expansion and build a network of premium marinas in key yachting destinations.
