Legendary singer-songwriter Elton John took centre stage at Venice’s historic Gran Teatro La Fenice for an intimate performance for more than 900 of Ferretti Group’s guests last night (19 December).
Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi said the event was intended "to offer our friends an event of the same beauty of our boats and Ferretti Group’s incredible 2023".
Attendees included long-time Ferretti Group supporter and F1 driver Charles Leclerc and actor Pierfrancesco Favino. David Beckham, who couldn’t be present at the event, recorded a message that honoured Ferretti Group’s commitment to supporting 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund and announced the sale of the Riva Anniversario which was auctioned off to mark the brand's 180th anniversary.
Guests were also able to glimpse the new 21.5-metre wallywhy100, which made its debut along the Grand Canal showing off a signature avant-garde Wally design.
The concert was held in support of Save Venice, the non-profit organisation with a mission to preserve Venice’s artistic heritage and the Teatro La Fenice Foundation, of which Ferretti Group has been a supporting partner since 2021.

"It’s a little bit funny this feeling inside: in Venice, in the Gran Teatro La Fenice, only wonderful things can happen," continued Galassi. "A huge thank you to Elton John, who last night gave an unforgettable performance, treating us all to a thrill every time he played the first chords of his magnificent songs. An incredible evening we’ll keep in our hearts for many years to come."
