Experts speaking to BOATPro have warned private yachts should not attempt to cross the Strait of Hormuz at this time, despite Nord's earlier passage on 25 April 2026. The 141.6-metre Lürssen became the first recorded superyacht to cross the Strait since a temporary ceasefire was reached on 8 April, but this is more likely to be a one-off incident than evidence of improved conditions.
