Yacht brokerage firm IYC has announced its expansion to the Middle East with the opening of its first location in Dubai. The new office has been opened in partnership with Vision Investments Limited, a subsidiary of Al Ameeri Group Holding, and marks IYC's fifteenth location worldwide.
Announced during the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show, IYC stated that its decision to establish a presence in Dubai reflects the significance of the UAE's developing yacht market, which has benefitted from several high-profile events and infrastructure projects serving to elevate the region's visibility on the world stage.Read More/Dubai: The new superyacht hub?
“The opening of our fifteenth office globally and our presence in the Middle East solidifies our position as a key player in the yachting industry," IYC CEO Raphael Sauleau said in a statement. "We are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings and are dedicated to providing unmatched services to existing clients and new clients alike in Dubai and the Middle East."
His sentiments were echoed by CEO of Al Ameeri Group Holding Ahmad Al Ameeri, who referred to the partnership as a "significant milestone" in the Group's journey to diversify its investment portfolio to include the maritime industry. "With IYC and our Group’s knowledge & experience, we are confident that this partnership will provide yacht owners and clients with the finest options and solutions for their yachting needs and will set new standards of excellence," said Al Ameeri.
In addition to the new office opening, IYC used the occasion of the Monaco Yacht Show to share a brief summary of its accomplishments from the previous year.
