Ocean Independence introduces carbon offset programme for charter

Yacht brokerage firm Ocean Independence has introduced a new initiative to counteract the effects of greenhouse gas emissions caused by the yachting industry. 

In cooperation with ClimatePartner, the Switzerland-based company is offering a 'charter carbon offset programme', where the dollar amount of fuel emissions from charter trips will be invested in various sustainability projects.
