Piero Formenti, founder of the RIB manufacturer Zar Formenti, has been named as the next president of Confindustria Nautica, the Italian Marine Industry Association. His appointment will cover the 2025–2029 term, with formal ratification expected on 16 May during the association’s annual spring convention, SATEC, in Rapallo.
