Italian media report the resignation of Benetti CCO Sebastiano Fanizza

Italian media outlets have reported the resignation of Benetti chief commercial officer Sebastiano Fanizza. Representatives from the shipyard declined to confirm the rumour,  but Benetti has not released a statement to contradict the news, which broke last week. 

Fanizza was appointed CCO five years ago, as part of a broader management restructure that began when chief executive of Benetti’s Business Line division, Vincenzo Poerio, stepped down in 2018. Fanizza formerly worked at Azimut, holding several titles before joining Nautor Swan as commercial and business development director, and then returning to the Azimut | Benetti family under the Benetti brand.
