Following last month's leadership change, Sunseeker has announced a new strategic direction for the business to be implemented over the next 18 months.

Appearing at boot Düsseldorf, interim CEO Scott Millar set out the plans, which includes new products being developed over the next five years. He also spoke of the opportunity ahead to redefine modern yachting and ensure the business’ long-term success.

"Over the next 18 months, putting in place this strategy and returning the company to full momentum will be the core priority for the leadership team," the yard stated.

Millar also highlighted Sunseeker's recent financial backing from Cheyne Capital and Cross Ocean Partners, which will help the yard to reach its targets.

In the near term, Millar outlined how this investment is already being deployed. Key actions include strengthening the supply chain to improve build efficiency and on-time delivery, supported by a new procurement strategy designed to address industry-wide challenges.

Sunseeker is also working towards a digital manufacturing system upgrade, significant expansion of its global dealer network into new and emerging markets and continued investment in physical and technological infrastructure to accelerate the yard's "Superyacht Strategy".

Millar described the plan as "the beginning of a new chapter for Sunseeker", one that will reposition the brand as a global industry leader while remaining true to its DNA. The discussion also featured updates from sales director Mark Chinery, who introduced the global debut of the all-new Sunseeker Manhattan 56, and CTO Ewen Foster, who revealed the latest design developments of the Sunseeker 134 Superyacht, offering exclusive insight into the future of the brand’s superyacht portfolio.
