Sunseeker International has reported "significantly improved" financial results for fiscal 2021, following a downturn in 2020 brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, as revealed in its latest financial filing.
Despite lasting impacts in the early part of the year, revenue grew by 51 per cent from £140.6 million in 2020 to £212.8 million in 2021. However, high levels of company absences due to illness made it difficult for the shipyard to maintain its gross profit margin, which dropped by 0.9 per cent over the course of 2021.
