Superyacht fintech provider Voly has unveiled an eco-friendly payment card as part of a company-wide sustainability drive.
Voly’s Prepaid Mastercard, which is now used across 600 superyachts, is an expense card that allows captains, crew, owners, and management companies to streamline their expenditure management and track transactions on the go.
Read More/Voly fleet passes 500 yacht landmark in continued growth pushThe new eco-friendly payment cards, which will be gradually introduced to Voly clients, are made from 76% recycled materials and are certified ‘eco-friendly’ by Mastercard.
The cards are made from a higher proportion of recycled PVC and have a much lower environmental impact compared to traditional plastic cards. They are produced using materials sourced from post-industrial waste and feature non-plastic components, including a metal chip and antenna.

As CEO, I take being more eco-friendly seriously, that’s why we’re fully committed to becoming a more sustainable organisation.
“This is our first step into becoming greener and we’re looking forward to our clients receiving the new eco-friendly Voly cards.”
The new eco-friendly Voly card is the first in a “pipeline” of sustainable commitments, Flanagan said, adding that more initiatives will be revealed soon.
