Flexjet and Ferretti Group unveil Riva-inspired jet and helicopter interiors

Private aviation specialists Flexjet and Ferretti Group have unveiled an interior collaboration that brings the iconic style of Riva motor yachts to the skies.

Revealed this week at Milano Prime Linate Airport, the new Riva Volare cabin design draws inspiration from Riva’s iconic 1960s Aquarama and Aquariva models. Riva Volare, the latest addition to Flexjet’s bespoke LXi Cabin Collection, will be fitted aboard one of Flexjet’s Gulfstream G650 ultra-long-range jets, seating up to 12-15 passengers and capable of flying for up to 14-16 hours, connecting New York and Tokyo, London, Singapore or Milan.

The interior is also presented in two of Flexjet’s Sikorsky S-76 helicopters, one in Florida and the other featuring in a new helicopter operation based in Milan, where the company has launched a new helicopter service catering to Italy and the French Riviera.

The Riva Volare cabin features all the classic nautical design elements you'd expect from the Ferretti Group brand: handstitched leather seating in Riva’s signature aquamarine piping, high-gloss striped wood veneer panelling and pop-up kibitzer seats in a bold nautical stripe. A silken carpet inspired by the wake of a yacht, deep ‘Blu Sera’ accents, and polished metallic trim add to the aesthetic.
