New listing values climb for a second week as 55m Papa joins the market

12 July 2022

Both listing values and sales figures have continued to climb for the second week in a row with €95-million-worth of brokerage boats joining the market between July 4 and July 10.

The arrival of the 55 metre Amels motor yacht Papa - asking €47,950,000 with Burgess - saw the total value of new listings increase week-on-week by 49 per cent. Papa was one of 11 new yachts to join the market according to BOAT Pro data in association with Superyacht Recruiter.

Last week in numbers

14 sales

€81.5M in total sales value

€5.82M average sales price

11 listings

€95.3M overall listings value

4 price changes

€1.92M in price drops

The total sum of yachts sold last week saw a €47 million increase in comparison to the previous week. This was driven by an increased value of the yachts sold, with 14 sales completed in comparison to 12 the week before. There were three yachts sold with asking prices in excess of €10,000,000, the largest of which is Columbus motor yacht Mrs D which was sold in-house by Superyacht Partners. However, the new-build market appears to have quietened with no new-build sales registered by BOAT Pro last week.

It was a quiet week for price movements with just four recorded price drops on Dinaia, Fiorente, Adar and Tsumat and no reported increases.
