As the yachting landscape rapidly evolves amid shifting priorities and ongoing geopolitical tensions, the role of the flag state requires foresight and a delicate balance between regulation, innovation and stakeholder expectations.

In this roundtable discussion, BOATPro speaks with Cameron Mitchell, director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry; Phil Noad, deputy global director of safety and compliance of the Cayman Ship Registry; and Marc Verburg, director of yacht operations of the Marshall Islands Ship Registry, to find out.
