Each week we select one of the world’s finest superyachts for charter. This week we turn to the 50-metre superyacht Mosaique, which was built by Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts in 2002. Mosaique underwent an all-encompassing refit in 2022 and has bright interiors bathed in natural light.

Why charter Mosaique?
Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, Mosaique was delivered in 2002, constructed in steel and aluminium by the Turkish yard to ABS class and MCA compliance. She was the recipient of an extensive refit in 2015, followed by a full hull repaint in 2020, which upgraded her profile to the striking "Marlin Blue" colour she has today.
Her most recent works, which included a significant interior refresh and her 20-year ABS class survey, were completed in 2022. This leaves the 50-metre yacht for charter in excellent condition for the Mediterranean.
Inside, Mosaique is bright and flooded with natural light – a perfect partner for the Mediterranean rays this summer. Her main saloon is a sanctuary of white panelled walls and ceilings, while her natural wood floor gives the yacht a beach house feel. The design is classic, but bright, making Mosaique a top choice for multi-generational charters.
Mosaique also has an array of on board entertainment, wellness facilities and water toys.
Interior mood
As guests step on board, they’ll be met with the light and breezy feel of a beach house: huge windows, whitewashed wood and a (newly replaced) natural wood floor that runs throughout the yacht. Freestanding white furniture and the occasional white-marble surface and a bar can be found too.
Forward of the main saloon is a bright formal dining room, which accommodates twelve guests. The upper deck saloon offers a more informal setting, suited to relaxation and social gatherings.
American designer Donald Starkey conceived Mosaique's original interior design and layout, although her interiors were completely transformed by Kristina Ferrand in 2022. Starkey’s elegant layout and boiserie were preserved, but Ferrand reimagined the space with a casual-elegant "Hamptons Beach" style, using white woods to create the feeling of space paired with soft neutral fabrics and blue accents.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a VIP suite on the main deck and a full-beam master suite with private study, large Honey-onyx bathroom, and his-and-her dressing rooms. Meanwhile, there are three double cabins and a twin cabin on the lower deck.
Out on deck
Outside, there is an expansive aft deck with built-in seating, al fresco dining area and steps descending to the swim platform. At the foredeck there is another open-air social space fitted with sunpads.
But like most charter yachts, guests will tend to congregate up on the sundeck, which is home to a whirlpool surrounded by sunpads and loungers, a bar, open-air gym equipment and two tables for informal, al fresco meals.
There is another outdoor dining area located on the bridge deck aft, with seating for up to 16 guests around an oval teak table shaded by the sundeck above. There is also a gym on board, which has cardio equipment and free weights, all shaded by a Bimini.
