Commissioned in 2002 for her discerning owner, Constanter is the unique end result of a successful design evolution process with the naval architects, German Frers and the renowned builders at Nautor Swan.
Based on the highly successful Swan 62 model, this one-off yacht was extended during her construction to 65' providing extra deck space, improving her sailing performance and giving her a more timeless, elegant hull shape.
Her deck plan was altered to allow for a flush foredeck, a raised saloon which pours light into the custom designed teak interior, two secure cockpit areas and a roomy aft deck which leads effortlessly to the foldaway swim platform on the transom.
Recently, Constanter underwent a thorough refit which included new teak decks, new electronics and instrumentation throughout, a new hydraulics package enabling push button sailing and a new carbon mast and sails.
Constanter can accommodate 6/7 guest in three air conditioned cabins. The full beam master cabin has a large double, en-suite with separate shower facilities and a surround sound TV. The port cabin has a double and a single upper bunk which can be stowed away if not required. It's generous bathroom and huge separate shower room is shared with the starboard cabin which has twin bunks. The crew is accommodated separately and forward with their own facilities.
Constanter has a fantastic racing pedigree having competed successfully over the years in regattas all over the world including Swan Cups, Cowes Weeks, ARC races and the Caribbean circuit. With a full wardrobe of racing sails by North, she is always ready to be a competitive racer, both inshore and offshore.
