Damen Yachting has a rich history in luxury yacht building. The builder combines the pedigree and heritage of its Amels yachts with its growing portfolio of SeaXplorer luxury expedition yachts and Yacht Support vessels. In 2018 the yacht builder celebrated 100 years of Amels and can trace the maritime DNA at its yards back for centuries. Damen Yachting, which is the yacht building division within the global Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019.

Created in 2015 as an innovative new range in our portfolio, the SeaXplorer has become reality as the first two deliveries, ANAWA and LA DATCHA, leave Damen Yachting’s yard in the Netherlands. The third is now in build. Azure Yacht Design is Damen Yachting’s design partner for the SeaXplorer range’s exterior lines. The builder also approached the expert guides at EYOS Expeditions, who designing once-in-a-lifetime experiences to our planet’s most remarkable places. Together with EYOS Expeditions, the yard incorporated hundreds of operational design features into the SeaXplorer based on real expedition experience.
A world leader in the steel and aluminum displacement yacht market, Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) was founded in 2010 by Ennio Cecchini, CEO, Vasco Buonpensiere, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Gabriele Virgili, one of the foremost entrepreneurs in the territory of Ancona and President of CdM.

CdM has diversified its offer and alongside the Darwin Class models, the Mg range and the Flexplorer line, new revolutionary series, have been introduced. Following precise requests from experienced Owners, CdM is also building a few one-off explorer vessels from 39 to 43 metres (370 to 499 GRT).
