Winners of the BOAT Artistry & Craft Awards revealed

The winners of the BOAT Artistry & Craft Awards were revealed, shining a spotlight on the skilled makers and specialist teams behind some of the industry’s most accomplished yacht interiors. Presented in association with Parkway England, the awards celebrated the often unseen craftsmanship that elevates life on board, from intricate joinery and bespoke furniture to complex surface finishes and artistic installations.

Now in its third year, the programme recognised excellence across three categories – Excellence in Craftsmanship, Outstanding Collaborative Creation and Emerging Artisan of the Year. Below are the winners in their categories:

Celebrating the winner of the Young Designer of the Year Award

Venue: K3

South African design student Finn Lortan was named winner at last night’s Young Designer of the Year Award 2026, in association with Feadship.  The competition attracted over 160 participants from around the world, with judges noting an exceptionally competitive field of entries.

The award celebrates the most innovative and technically accomplished concepts from student and trainee designers, challenging them to respond to realistic client briefs. This year’s challenge asked entrants to imagine themselves as junior designers at Feadship, creating a bespoke 60-metre day boat called Amiche. The brief required a converted vessel rebuilt from the main deck upward, capable of hosting up to 20 guests, featuring only two family cabins and extensive entertainment spaces, all within accelerated refit timelines.

The winner received recognition in front of an international audience of superyacht owners, designers, and industry leaders over a private lunch.
