In Association with: Riva

The Riva Superyachts Division marks the brand’s official debut into the superyacht segment, proposing a range in lightweight alloy with a displacement hull and the option of a fully customised layout and interior decor.

Constructed at the Superyacht Yard in Ancona by an engineering and design team entirely devoted to the project, it currently offers owners two lines: the first features classic, timeless traits inspired by the brand’s legendary past and the second line is sportier and has more aggressive shapes. Each of the two lines are proposed in different sizes from 50 to 90 meters in length.

The first born of the Riva Superyachts Division is the 50 Metri Race: launched in March and officially presented in June 2019 with a dedicated event in Venice, it perfectly combines the Made in Italy aesthetic with the unmistakable personality of the brand. With a a steel displacement hull and aluminum superstructure, the 50 Metri combines comfort, style, attention to detail and the application of the most advanced technological solutions, which offer an unparalleled navigation experience. Riva 50 Metri is the result of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, the engineering team dedicated to the Superyachts Division and the Ferretti Group Product Strategic Committee.

Riva is proudly supporting the Superyacht Design Festival 2020 in association with BOAT International for the second consecutive year, deeply committing into the development of future projects in superyacht design.

Event Partner: Perini Navi

Perini Navi has been, for over thirty years, a worldwide leader in the design and construction of sailing and motor yachts. Over 60 per cent of the world's fleet of sailing yachts over 40m has been built by Perini Navi.

Perini Navi was founded in 1983 with Fabio Perini's first prototype of what would prove to be the most successful series of large sailing yachts in the world. It all started with a new vision of sailing: a vision of large yachts with ample living spaces and single handed handling. Originally located in Viareggio, Perini Navi expanded first in La Spezia, acquiring the Picchiotti shipyard, a pioneer in the design and build of luxury motor cruisers, and then in Tuzla, Istanbul. Its three state-of-the-art facilities have become synonym for quality and seaworthiness.

Perini Navi USA was established in Newport, Rhode Island, dedicated to brokerage and charter services for Perini Navi yachts, with the aim of providing a seamless point of contact for prospective buyers, and an unparalleled service.

In 2017 Faper Group, founded by Mr. Fabio Perini, opened the share capital of Perini Navi to a new investor: Fenix Sri. The entry of Fenix has paved the way for many new developments in Perini Navi.

One Brand, One Company

Since Autumn 2017 Perini Navi has merged its two brands into one. The group's motor-yachts, previously built under the Picchiotti name, will all fly the same flag as their sister sailing yachts and will all be sold, built and sailed with the Perini Navi logo.

Fleet

The Perini Navi fleet consists of 62 yachts, 59 sailing and three motor yachts, with a dynamic range that varies in size from the 25m Elettra to the 88m Maltese Falcon.

Event Partner: Masi

Masi is a leading producer of Amarone and has always been a passionate proponent of the values of the Venetian regions. Its history begins at the end of the 18th century when the Boscaini family bought prestigious vineyards in a small valley called “Vaio dei Masi” in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area. For more than forty years it has had an ambitious project involving the recuperation of historic vineyards and wineries: working with Conti Serego Alighieri, descendants of Dante the poet and owners of the property in Valpolicella with the longest history and traditions; with Conti Bossi Fedrigotti, a prestigious producer from Trentino famous for its Fojaneghe, the first Italian Bordeaux-blend; and with Canevel, producers of fine quality sparkling wines in Valdobbiadene.

As well as this, Masi has organic vineyards at Poderi del Bello Ovile in Tuscany and Masi Tupungato in Argentina. It has acknowledged expertise in the use of the Appassimento method, used since the time of the Ancient Romans to concentrate colours, sugars, aromas and tannins in wine, and it is one of the most historic producers of Amarone. Masi’s president, Sandro Boscaini, comes from the sixth generation of the family that has done so much to make Amarone one of Italy’s iconic products. Today Masi makes five different Amarones, the biggest and most expert range to be found on the export market.
