Internationally renowned champagne brand Moët & Chandon has been named the official champagne of the 35th America’s Cup. It joins Gosling’s Rum as an official drinks partner and will be present at all America’s Cup events throughout the Louis Vuitton World Series, as well as the finals in Bermuda in 2017.

The brand has long had a connection with sailing

As part of its sponsorship the brand is encouraging visitors to create a #moetmoment, either in the Club AC VIP hospitality suite or at one of the numerous champagne bars it will be hosting at the Cup’s public zones. It will also be providing Jeroboam trophy bottles of Moët Imperial for truly special podium moments.

Moët & Chandon has a long history of sports sponsorship and first became involved with the America’s Cup in 1987 when its champagne was used to christen the race boats - just one example of the many alternative ways to enjoy champagne.

“The America’s Cup is the epitome of elegant achievement and the bold pursuit of victory. It is a perfect reflection of Moët & Chandon’s own pioneering spirit of success,” said Stéphane Baschiera, president & CEO of Moët & Chandon. “We raise a toast to this prestigious event and its exceptional participants. We are proud to accompany them over the next several years in their remarkable Moët moments.”
