The Canarian Mojito rum cocktail

The speciality of the Cubanika Bar at the The Ritz-Carlton, Abama - which boasts one of the world's most extensive mojito menus - the Canarian Mojito offers a fruity twist on this much-loved cocktail.


50ml Honey Rum

30ml Banana Liqueur

25ml lime juice

25ml liquid sugar

30ml soda

12 mint leaves

6 slices of lime


Muddle mint leaves and four slices of lime in a tall glass and fill with ice

Put rum, banana liqueur, lime juice and sugar into a cocktail shaker

Shake and strain into cocktail glass

Top up with soda

Garnish with remaining lime slices
