Best known for its stylish patterned skateboards, Bureo now creates all its plastic products in collaboration with the Net Positiva initiative. Launched in Chile in 2013, Net Positiva aims to help rid the ocean of the discarded fishing nets which are highly harmful to marine life and estimated to make up 10% of ocean plastic waste. Bureo then turns these nets into skateboards and has so far used 80,000kg of discarded material.
