About Carla Guilhem Design
Carla Guilhem Design is an interior design studio known for its timeless highly-bespoke designs. It was founded by principal designer Carla Guilhem who was born in in Brazil and educated in Italy and Spain. Guilhem has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and has worked extensively with clients in Europe, South America, and the United States.
In recognition of her work, Carla Guilhem was awarded for the Best Interior Design for Superyachts Below 500GT for Lady Lene at the 2023 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. The award recognized the studio’s exceptional work on the 34-meter explorer yacht, which featured a stunning interior design that implemented the owner's brief to create a calming sensation of a "residence on the water".
In addition to yachting projects, Carla Guilhem Design has extensive experience in high-end private residences and commercial real estate developments.
Notable yachts
Carla Guilhem Design has worked on numerous superyacht projects, including the aforementioned Lady Lene. Other notable yachts the studio has worked on include Dutch Falcon, the Beachclub and the Edge 65 series by Dutch shipyard Van der Valk.
