Sunseeker
History
Originally founded as Poole Power Boats in 1969 by brothers Robert and John Braithwaite, Sunseeker evolved into one of the world’s most iconic luxury motor yacht builders. The company was renamed Sunseeker International in 1985 and rapidly gained international recognition for its dynamic performance yachts and innovative design. From its base in Poole, on the south coast of England, Sunseeker has grown into a global brand and is considered a leader in the production of luxury performance motor yachts.
Specialisations
Sunseeker yachts are known for their high performance, sleek design, and exceptional craftsmanship. All design, engineering, and finishing are handled in-house through the company's Design & Technology Centre in Poole. This vertically integrated approach allows Sunseeker to maintain tight quality control over all aspects of the build process, including bespoke furniture, complex electrical systems, and helm stations.
