The 34.1-metre Westport motor yacht Ascente has been sold with Matthew Martin of Fraser and Daniel Wood from Crows Nest Yachts representing the seller.
Built in GRP to a design by Gregory C. Marshall, Ascente was delivered in 1994 on a Westport 7600 series hull but benefitted from a full refit in 2017 and features a striking metallic-blue hull.
Inside, she sports a modern, minimalist interior design by Mauricio Gomez De Tuddo. Her full-beam main saloon features a seating area, sit-up bar and forward dining area, surrounded by wrap-around windows that highlight the 300-degree unobstructed views. From here, sliding doors open out onto the aft cockpit, complete with comfortable seating and a barbecue.
The upper deck invites cosier relaxation, offering a fireplace in the skylounge and a firepit on the aft deck.
With a spacious open layout, a large dining table and a highly functional galley, she is perfectly suited to hosting large groups – one of the key reasons behind her impressive track record on the charter market.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five staterooms, comprising a full-beam master suite with a four-poster bed and four double VIP suites, all with entertainment facilities, en suite bathrooms and their own cosy fireplace. There are separate crew quarters for a team of seven.
Twin Volvo 470hp diesel engines provide the 247GT yacht with a cruising speed of 10 knots, topping out at 15 knots.
Ascente was last asking $1,995,000.
