The 36.3-metre Moonen Yachts motor yacht Kokoro has been sold in a deal with Ron Silvia of Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales introducing the buyer and Matthew Stone and Richard Gray of IYC representing the seller.
Named after the Japanese word for "heart", she is the second hull of her Dutch builder’s Martinique series and was commissioned as her owner’s personal project. Her exterior design is owed to René van der Velden Yacht Design while her interiors were penned by Studio Indigo. Since delivery in 2020, she has remained in private ownership.
The motor yacht's generous interiors offer a light social setting, with a cream and teal colour palette paired with large windows to allow natural light to fill the space. A cluster of sofas centred by a coffee table forms the lounging area, while a dining table seating 10 guests sits in the same open-plan layout.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests across five en suite cabins, including a full-beam master suite, as well as space for a crew of seven.
The main deck aft offers a lounging space out on the spacious deck, ideal for informal entertaining or relaxing in the shade.
A second saloon is provided on the upper deck, with a large corner settee and coffee table paired with a television for relaxed lounging.
The glass double doors open fully to create an indoor-outdoor space, offering a large al fresco dining area seating 10 guests. More sunpads can be found on this deck under an optional cover for all-weather use.
Forward of the helm is an al fresco dining space on the foredeck, with uninterrupted views off the front of the yacht.
The sundeck provides a comfortable lounging space on a row of sunpads and multiple sofas under a retractable cover.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Kokoro offers a top speed of 16.5 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
