The 42-metre Benetti motor yacht New Waves has been sold with Maël Fiolet of Camper & Nicholsons representing the seller and Nicolas Bochno of Aqua Marine representing the buyer.
The Benetti Fast 140 model, constructed in GRP and designed by Stefano Righini, was delivered in Italy in 2015 and refitted in 2024. Naval architecture is by Benetti's in-house team while her interior design is by Redman Whiteley Dixon, now RWD.
MCA-compliant and a popular charter yacht, her "Mediterranean house vibes" interior accommodates 10 guests in five cabins, comprising a main deck master suite and four doubles below, two of which are designated as VIPs. There are quarters for a crew of eight.
The main deck saloon boasts windows galore, allowing for plenty of light, and has comfortable seating and a bar. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for 10 guests and storage cabinets for china, glassware and silver.
New Waves' skylounge boasts a full bar, wrap-around couches and a television, making it the perfect place to curl up for a night at the movies, while the Portuguese bridge offers a Jacuzzi spa tub, seating and tables offering al fresco entertaining and dining.
The sundeck has four large sunbeds, two removable umbrellas, a bar with seating for five, a dining table for 10 guests and a flat screen television set.
The 390GT RINA-classed yacht is powered by twin 3,460hp MTU diesels that give her a top speed of 21 knots and cruising speed of 16.5 knots.
New Waves was last asking €13,900,000.
