A $2,000,000 price drop has been announced on the 43.4-metre Westport motor yacht Ostara, listed for sale with Andrew Grego of Luke Brown Yachts.
The Westport 130 is a popular model from the US builder, with Ostara delivered in 2009 to a design by Taylor Olson and Westport. The shipyard was also responsible for the yacht's interiors, with William Garden developing the naval architecture.
Between 2021 and 2023, Ostara underwent a multi-million-dollar transformation, emerging as what her broker described as the "perfect yacht", blending explorer and sport.
The tri-deck motor yacht offers a spacious main saloon with two large sofas and armchairs for comfortable lounging, as well as a dining table for eight guests in the same open-plan space. The area is built for entertaining, featuring panoramic windows letting plenty of natural light in.
Ostara has five cabins, including an on-deck master cabin with a king-size bed and en suite, offering a total accommodation for 10 guests on board. Below deck aft, two VIP cabins offer king-size beds and two twin cabins are located forward. All of the lower-deck accommodation is equipped with en suites.
Al fresco dining can be enjoyed on the main deck aft with an elongated polished wood table and 10 chairs. The deck also benefits from a banquette sweeping the aft, paired with a bar and stools for entertaining.
The foredeck acts as a relaxation spot, with sunbeds and soft furnishings facing uninterrupted views over the bow. The deck also features a fishing spot, complemented by a long built-in bench.
A second saloon can be found on the upper deck, with a large corner settee and various armchairs paired with coffee tables. A fireplace complements the space, ready to be lit in colder months.
Port and starboard stairwells provide easy access to a large swim platform, and the full walk-around decks allow easy access for passengers and crew.
The GRP-hulled yacht for sale has two MTU diesel engines that allow her to cruise at 20 knots and reach a maximum speed of 24 knots. Her zero-speed stabilisers ensure maximum comfort at anchor as well as an enjoyable ride at any speed.
Ostara is now asking $17,500,000.
