A 47 metre motor yacht called simply 47M Feadship has been jointly listed for sale by Yachting Partners International and Fraser Yachts.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects, she was delivered in 1987, with several refits since, the most recent being in 2012. An interior by Terence Disdale accommodates up to 14 guests in seven cabins.

A large owner’s office with a very large walk in wardrobe is on the main deck. From here there is separate access to two adjoining large en suite cabins. This whole area on the main deck can either be used as a very large owner’s suite or alternatively as an owner and VIP suite, both on the main deck. In this way the yacht can either be described as a six or seven cabin yacht.

The lower deck guest accommodation of this yacht for sale is equally spacious. To aft are two cabins with double and twin beds on the starboard and port side respectively. Immediately forward and on the starboard side is a slightly smaller twin cabin ideal for children, staff or guests. The further two twins are mirror images of one another. The large guest area and lower saloon in between the five guest staterooms is a wonderful feature offering an extra area for guests to relax.

Upon boarding, there is a large exterior aft deck with a comfortable dining table and sofa, ideal for al fresco dining. To the starboard side is easy access to the aft swim platform. Entering the main saloon on the main deck there is a calm ambiance typical of a Terence Disdale interior. The main saloon is comfortable and bright with a large coffee table in the middle, large sofas to port and directly ahead facing aft, are two arm chairs. Immediately forward of this space is the main dining room with immediate access to the pantry.

Twin Caterpillar 775hp engines give her a cruising speed of 11 knots.

“She is a quintessential Feadship combining the highest quality of construction, great sea keeping, good interior volume, and large exterior deck spaces with big tenders,” says Matt Albert, Senior YPI Sales Broker. “Sleek lines, elegant proportions, comfortable accommodation, ample interior and exterior guest areas, together with a functional and intelligent layout are the major strengths of this pedigree yacht.

“For buyers in search of an exceptionally reliable, well maintained, spacious and high pedigree build, the 47M Feadship is today one of the best offers on the market. When you purchase a Feadship you are buying the best of the best. At her current price, we don’t expect her to stay on the market for very long.”

Lying in Athens, Greece, the 47M Feadship is asking $9.9 million with VAT paid.
