John DeCaro at All Ocean Yachts sends me details of a new build 32m expedition yacht concept to be built at the Nisi yard in China with delivery in 2015.

Designed by Overing Yacht Design, the raised pilothouse explorer-style yacht will be built to MCA compliancy with a round bilge bulbous bow hull in composite. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in four staterooms including a large master suite with king-size bed, a full entertainment centre and his-and-hers en suite bathrooms.

The interior design will be by Luiz de Basto or Michael Kirschstein Designs. Twin 715hp Caterpillar engines will give her a cruising speed of 11 knots, a maximum speed of 13 knots and a range of 4,800 nautical miles at 10 knots. She will carry a 30-foot tender. The specification is extensive and the equipment has been chosen from top international suppliers known for their reliability and customer service.

The 32m expedition yacht concept is asking $10,850,000.
