Amels superyacht Malibu now for sale with Cecil Wright & Partners

Chris Cecil-Wright at Cecil Wright & Partners tells me he's taken over the central listing for sale of the 50m motor yacht Malibu.

Built by Amels to Lloyds class and MCA compliant in 2001, Malibu was designed by Terence Disdale. A refit in 2006 saw a new Reymond Langton interior in high gloss macassar ebony and she accommodates 12 guests in five staterooms plus 11 crew. The master suite is full beam on the main deck and features floor to ceiling windows to port and starboard and a private office.

Two double VIP staterooms are on the lower deck as are two twin cabins, each with a Pullman berth. All staterooms have entertainment systems and full en suite facilities. Placing the yacht's tenders on the bow means that every deck is free for relaxation or entertainment, and there is al fresco dining for 12 guests on the bridge and sun decks.

Twin 1200hp Cummins engines give Malibu a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

Malibu is asking €19.5 million.
