Eric Trupheme at Ocean Independence gets in touch with a further €400,000 price drop on his central listing for sale, the 42.5m motor yacht Aktobe.

Aktobe was built by Cantieri di Fiumicino to a design by Andrea Bacigalupo and launched in 2003 as the first all-aluminium yacht to be MCA coded. Twin 2,755hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers. One of the yard’s Alfamarine series, Aktobe is ABS classed and has a warm and inviting interior featuring richly coloured fabrics and soft wood finishes.

Spacious accommodation is available for as many as 16 guests in eight staterooms including a full beam owner’s suite on the main deck. There are also three double staterooms along with two twins, a triple and a single cabin, all with state of the art audio visual systems and all with en suite bathrooms.
