A €500,000 price drop has been announced for steel-hulled classic motor yacht Freemont, listed for sale with Lars Bjorkland of Ocean Independence.
The 35-metre yacht was delivered by Benetti in 1983 and has been refitted numerous times throughout her life, most recently in 2017 and 2023. Her broker noted this is "a rare opportunity to own a true Benetti classic".
Freemont's exterior design, originally penned by Benetti and updated by Manfredi, delivers charming lines. Keen eyes will notice the old school stern platform abutting her curved transom.
Al fresco dining is set up on the main deck aft, and the upper deck holds space for a variety of toys and gives access to the sundeck for additional dining and leisure space.
Freemont's recent updates have added modern touches to the interiors. Warm woodwork features across the main saloon and cabins, and padded fabrics adorn the cabin bulkheads.
Her 212GT allows for generous accommodations of up to 10 guests appointed in five cabins. The full-beam master suite is complemented by an adjacent VIP at main deck level, while the remaining three suites are located on the lower deck.
Built to Bureau Veritas classification and MCA compliant, Freemont is powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines, propelling the yacht for sale to a top speed of 12 knots. She has a range of over 2,400 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Freemont is now asking €1,900,000 and is lying in Trapani, Sicily.
