François van Well calls to say he’s now left Merle Wood & Associates to join Rybovich in West Palm Beach, Florida, as Vice President of Business Development.
In this role, François will join the senior management team and direct the critical estimating, sales and marketing functions of the rapidly expanding Rybovich enterprise.
After nearly two years in yacht brokerage with Merle Wood & Associates, François says that a change was needed. Having been involved in several large yacht deals, François concluded that the commitment to continuous 24 hour a day availability by phone, email, and constant travel, which is necessary to be a successful yacht broker, did not leave much room for family life.
Rybovich's owner, Wayne Huizenga Jr., said, ‘We are absolutely thrilled to welcome François van Well to an official and critical function within the Rybovich family. Although he has long been a source of sage advice, François now brings full time dedication and 14 years of Feadship shipyard and naval architecture experience to our senior management team.’
