Burger Motor Yacht Koala for Sale

The 25.21 metre motor yacht Koala has been listed for sale by Pam Barlow at Luke Brown Yachts.

Built in aluminium by US yard Burger to a design by Jack Hargrave, she was delivered in 1967 and has been constantly maintained since, including a full refit in 2002. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins configured as a full beam master suite plus port and starboard twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities while a further two cabins sleep three crew aboard this yacht for sale.

The main deck saloon has its original honey oak panelling, as well as matched valances and wood blinds that have been added by the present owners. Forward and to port is an upholstered two seat sofa with a rattan end table, lamp and a black lacquer coffee table. Also here are two rattan chairs with wooden arms done in a rope motif. Outboard to starboard are two Rattan side chairs and a hand-painted semi-oval chest of drawers. Across the forward bulkhead is a built-in oak bookcase hosting a television screen and entertainment centre in a cabinet.

The wheelhouse retains its original Burger configuration but has been completely updated with all new electronics and a reconfigured console, new flooring, overhead lighting, and soft goods. Up on the flybridge are two Stidd helm chairs and all the amenities needed for al fresco entertaining and dining. Her top speed is 21 knots and her power comes from two 1,350hp Caterpillar 3412 diesel engines.

Lying in St Augustine, Florida, Koala is asking $565,000.
