A new central agency has been announced on the 28-metre yacht, Georgiana, now listed for sale with Arne Ploch of Camper & Nicholsons.
Delivered in 1990 by British shipyard Camper & Nicholsons, Georgiana is a cutter-rigged sloop with hydraulic furling systems. Designed by Doug Peterson and based on the successful Ocean 80 platform originally conceived for the Whitbread Round the World Race, she was built for offshore performance with simple sail handling and a flush deck. She is characterised by classic, modern lines.
Her broker notes that the yacht for sale has been maintained by four owners throughout her life, and she remains a well-kept example of a proven blue-water sailing yacht. Her sail plan allows for flexible combinations suited to a wide range of conditions, offering practical advantages for extended passages and controlled sail handling.
Accommodation on board is for six guests across three cabins. There is a large master stateroom with en suite bath forward, one double and one twin cabin which are all fit with en suite facilities. One of these cabins can be converted into a double-bed configuration, providing flexibility for different guest arrangements. Independent crew accommodation is located aft, providing quarters for three to four crew.
She has a separate guest cockpit with comfortable seating for eight, ideal for al fresco dining or relaxing while underway.
The modern interior features sweet chestnut joinery inlaid with birds eye maple, combined with the circular skylight to welcome natural light into the saloon. The saloon is fitted with entertainment systems including an LG smart TV and Philips sounds bar.
Georgiana’s design comprises of a beam measuring 6.3 metres and draught measuring 2.9 metres, made of a GRP hull and superstructure. Powered by the a Caterpillar 201hp engine, she cruises at nine knots.
Georgiana is available for viewing in Palma strictly by prior appointment and is asking €1,200,000.
