Camper & Nicholsons signs expedition yacht Fortrus for sale

Andrew LeBuhn at Camper & Nicholsons tells me he's listed the famed 34.14m expedition yacht Fortrus for sale.

Fortrus has just returned from an epic journey 'Across the Top of the World', from Greenland to Alaska through the Northwest Passage. The expedition was followed by the international media and written up in numerous magazines. A unique fact: Fortrus ran for 20 days non-stop at cruising speed with the generator running and never needed fuel.

Built by Inace in 2008 to ABS class, Fortrus is MCA compliant and her Brazilian cherrywood interior accommodates 14 guests in a main deck suite, VIP stateroom, three double and two twin cabins. Twin 715hp Caterpillar engines give her a range of 3,800 nautical miles.

Now nestling in the warmth of South East Florida, Fortrus is asking $9.75 million.
