The 36.6-metre tri-deck motor yacht Cherish II has been sold in an in-house deal at RJC Yacht Sales with Bob Cury representing both buyer and seller.
Built in composite by US yard Christensen to an in-house design, Cherish II was delivered in 1995. A major refit in 2013 brought her right up to date with her teak decks replaced, furniture and tenders renewed, sun deck refurbished with a new bar and spa pool, new main engines and a fresh Awlgrip paint job.
The interior was completely redecorated in a contemporary style created in collaboration with Varo Interior Design. She accommodates nine guests in four cabins: a VIP on the main deck with a larger bathroom, a full-beam master suite on the lower deck, a triple cabin with queen-size and single berths, and a twin cabin.
In the main saloon, the light, clear maple joinery and large panoramic windows give this area a bright, open and warm ambiance and there is a formal dining area forward.
The aft deck has a three-sided enclosure that can be opened or closed with the option of air conditioning or heating, providing an all-weather relaxation area. Up on the flybridge is a large Jacuzzi spa tub, bar and sunloungers, while the skylounge features a comfortable seating area with a full wet bar with a fridge, icemaker and wine storage.
The 279GT yacht's top speed is 14 knots and her power comes from twin 1,300hp Caterpillar 3412C-DITA diesel engines.
Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Cherish II was last asking $3,995,000.
