Danish Yachts motor yacht Moon Goddess sold

24 November 2020 • Written by Malcolm Maclean

The 35 metre motor yacht Moon Goddess, listed for sale by Fernando Nicholson at Camper & Nicholsons International, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Built in lightweight carbon fibre by Danish Yachts to a design by the award-winning Espen Oeino, she was delivered in 2006 and has had just one owner since new. Accommodation is for six guests in three spacious suites, all located on the lower deck.  The full-beam master suite is positioned forward, followed by a double cabin and a twin.  There is separate accommodation for a complement of five crew on this yacht for sale.

Moon Goddess was asking $2,000,000

The interior was designed by Francois Zuretti and features a contemporary style with clean lines and a neutral colour scheme.  Exotic hardwoods run throughout, with custom cabinetry and furniture pieces.

One of her most notable features is the retractable ‘moon roof’.  This allows the main deck saloon to be opened up to the elements, creating a bright and expansive ambience.  The main deck is open to aft and here there is comfortable lounge furniture and space to enjoy the sunshine.  Her top speed is 42 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 800 nautical miles at 25 knots with power coming from two 3,700hp MTU 16V4000M90 diesel engines.

Moon Goddess was asking $2,000,000.
