A call to Matt Woods at Woods & Associates brings news that he's closed on the sale of the 25m motor yacht Jessica with the buyer represented by Kevin Frawley at Denison Yacht Sales.

She was built by Taiwan's Horizon yard and launched in 2005 as a pilothouse motor yacht. The interior features high gloss cherry and mahogany woods with elm burl accents throughout and she accommodates six guests in three staterooms – a master suite, VIP stateroom and a twin cabin. All have en suite bathroom facilities and flat screen LCD televisions. A favourite area aboard is her large aft deck, with a dining table – offering al fresco dining seating for 10 – and a barbecue.

Twin 1,550hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 18 knots and have a Platinum Caterpillar warranty through to 2015.

Jessica was asking $2.25 million.
