From pedigree builds to award-winning flagships, the month that hosts the world's largest in-water boat show saw brokers trim a total of €89.2 million from asking prices across 113 drops, according to data from BOATPro.
The industry witnessed numerous reductions in October, with sellers eager to close deals and garner attention from those across the pond in Fort Lauderdale. BOAT rounds up five of the biggest (and the most eye-catching) price drops that took place during the month, starting with a bright blue flagship...
1. Axioma - €7,500,000 price drop

Length: 72.5m
Builder: Dunya Yachts
Now asking: €55,000,000 with Northrop & Johnson
Axioma, listed for sale with Richard Higgins of Northrop & Johnson, saw €7.5 million deducted from her sales listing at the start of the month, a few weeks after she attended the Monaco Yacht Show at anchor. Delivered in 2013 as the Turkish shipyard's first and largest build, the custom Sterling Scott and Alberto Pinto-designed superyacht (with naval architecture developed by O. Tanju Kalaycioglu) was conceived as a rewarding charter-focused yacht. She is mostly famed for her innovative, beach house-style interior, which pioneered the first open double-height main saloon and won her a Judges’ Special Commendation at the 2014 World Superyacht Awards. However, her bright "Caribbean sea" blue hull, which was first revealed at the beginning of 2020 following one of several refits, certainly draws attention now too.
A further €3 million price reduction was announced on Axioma on 3 November, bringing her asking price down to €55,000,000.
2. Marguerite - $6,250,000 price drop

Length: 61.3m
Builder: Lürssen
Now asking: $37,500,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship
The custom Lürssen superyacht Marguerite received a $6.25 million price reduction towards the end of the month, announced by her broker, Rory Moran of Moran Yacht & Ship. Marguerite hit the water in 2004, unveiling her complete Winch Design exterior and interior, which was conceived under the supervision of Moran's new construction team. Owner requests included a private owner's area, a professional dive centre, capacious tender storage and the ability to cruise for 30 days at a time. And Marguerite certainly delivered, with her two-deck owner's apartment, large sundeck complete with a 10-person Jacuzzi and a fully equipped interior gym, and a transatlantic range of 7,700 nautical miles.

Length: 64m
Builder: Feadship
Now asking: €34,900,000 with Moravia Yachting and Merle Wood & Associates
€5.05 million was removed from the asking price of Feadship's 64-metre Lady Marina on the last day of the month, only four months after she joined the market for the first time since her original 1999 launch. Commissioned as a long-range cruising yacht with a family focus, Lady Marina was penned in-house by Studio De Voogt and outfitted with interiors by the award-winning Donald Starkey. On board, wellness is a priority, with a dedicated gym, steam room, sauna and spa, and not one but two Jacuzzis. A certified helideck aft of the sundeck also sets Lady Marina apart in her class. She is listed for sale under a joint central agency with Sam Tucker of Moravia Yachting and Merle Wood of Merle Wood & Associates.

Length: 49.8m

However, it is not only her propulsion that makes her stand out; the motor yacht was also constructed to a design by Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design. The shipyard's ninth collaboration with the designer, No Stress is sporty, slender and all-silver with aeronautical inspirations.
